It’s that time of the month again for Eco Islanders to blow the winter cobwebs on the Isle of Wight away with a good beach clean.
Volunteers are heading back out to the West Wight this Sunday (26th February 2012) to tackle the plastic bottles and would love you to come and help.
The group will be meeting at 10.30am in the car park at the end of Colwell Chine Road. Please call Ecoisland on 822385 if you want to take part in a car share and we will do our best to arrange it. There is a bus [route 7] that gets Totland at 10.32am on Sunday.
Our friends at Vikoma will supply gloves, bags and we will bring the pickers. Remember the more the merrier and many hands make light work. Please share this event and spread the word. It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday morning out enjoying our beautiful coastline in the spring air.
