The Isle of Wight Council also produce the One Island Magazine, which brings you valuable information and special features about the council and its services, together with news and details of events in the community. The magazine is available to download or view online.
Monthly editions except for August/September and December/January, when there are combined issues
Distributed with the Isle of Wight County Press: Available in council help centres, libraries, post offices, doctors’ surgeries, at St Mary’s Hospital, and on Red Funnel’s Red Jets and at Hovertravel’s Ryde terminal and a taped version is available from the Isle of Wight Society for the Blind.

Eco Island is an ambitious change programme. It will turn the Isle of Wight into the ultimate Eco Island, with strong communities and the lowest carbon footprint in England by 2020.
The Eco Island website explains: Eco Island as a broad based strategy for improving the social, economic and environmental sustainability of the Island. The strategy will build stronger, healthier communities with more opportunities for people to be involved in local life.
