Aug 1st, 2007 | By Island Pulse | Isle of Wight News From The Island PulseThe Isle of Wight Rural Community Council are celebrating the 13th year of the Community Action Awards, the IW County Press, IW Charitable Trust and IW Rural Community Council will be jointly sponsoring this annual competition, which is organised by the Rural Community Council.
The Community Action Awards aim to highlight and reward voluntary effort that seeks to improve community life on the Isle of Wight. It is open to voluntary groups/organisations and both new projects and ongoing activities will be accepted.
Entries are being accepted now and the closing date for completed applications is 17th August 2007.
