The Little Gloster Dare to Brave it Charity Swim – Sunday 27th November at 2pm
The Little Gloster supports The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust with a sponsored Christmas Swim bringing true ‘Christmas Spirit’ to the event. Join us all at 2pm on Sunday 27th November and brave the ‘refreshing’ sea off Gurnard Marsh, in this 500mtr sponsored Swim.
The Little Gloster is proud to be planning this event with the Marlin Swimming Club and Gurnard Sailing Club who will be in attendance to ensure that this unique event is safe as well as enjoyable.
The funds raised from the event will go directly to the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, who take young peoplesailing to help them regain confidence on their way to recovery from Cancer and other serious illness. Sign up now and help us to raise funds for this wonderful charity.
Entry is just £10 per person and swimmers will be asked to raise as much sponsorship as possible for The Trust. Swimmers will receive a Christmas Hat and a medal as well as something warm to drink at The Little Gloster after the swim.
Proud of your Pooch? Family Day Dog Show – 11th December 2011 2pm
Bring them along to The Little Gloster’s first family day festive dog show, on Sunday 11th December at 2pm. Get in the festive spirit and enter your dog into the coveted Best Fancy Dress, Happiest Dog or even Dog most like their Owner awards, and raise some money for charity.
Ken Rivers, the Ex Chairman of The IOW RSPCA, will judge the event. He will also be bringing along the RSPCA’s Agility Team to show us all how’s it’s really done.
With fancy dress outfits available to buy on site and a special doggy photo booth, it is set to be a wonderfully lighthearted event, perfect for all families and their four legged friends. Entry is just £5 per dog and all proceeds will be shared between The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust & RSPCA.
