Ferry Big Tanks For Tescos.

Red Funnel Ferries took one of the longest loads on a cross-Solent ferry to the Isle of Wight last month and it was no April fool. 
The two giant tanks measuring approximately 29 metres long, were being shipped to the Isle of Wight on the vehicle ferry Red Eagle by Yorkshire based CC Transport.

Whilst the Island was battered by 95 mile-per-hour high winds, heavy rain and spring tides this week, intrepid photographers emailed their images of the worst flood hit areas on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight Council’s Annual Big Day Out event (pictured), held on 7th October at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in Havenstreet proved to be the biggest and most successful yet. 
More than 6000 visitors enjoyed the day of entertainment and learnt about the services available to them on the Island.

The Isle of Wight Cycling Festival launch last weekend in Seaclose Park was definitely an event not to miss.  At 12 noon Tony Doyle MBE and Worldwide Cycling Champion (pictured), officially opened the annual Cycling Festival to an eager crowd of cycling enthusiasts along with the Chairman of the Isle of Wight Council Roger Mazillius.
