Isle of Wight Council Confirm Olympic 2012 Torch Route
The Isle of Wight’s part in the Olympic Torch UK relay in advance of the 2012 Games can now be revealed. The announcement of the Island route follows more than a year’s confidential discussions between the Isle of Wight Council and the London Olympic Organising Committee.

Nominations are being sought for people from the Isle of Wight who have made a difference in their local community to be a torchbearer.
