How remiss to not notice the lightbulb Island Pulse celebrated as being 69 last year, has now reached its milestone 70th birthday.  Three score years and ten is a ripe old age for anyone, not least the Swan Edison filament bulb, which was originally bought in 1938 by the stepfather of Isle of Wight resident Mo Richardson.
