West Wight Secures Heritage Lottery Funding.

In order to finance a number of exciting conservation, heritage and regeneration schemes, which are in-keeping with the Eco Island vision.  The Isle of Wight Council in conjunction with the West Wight Landscape Partnership have secured £1.7m from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

School Pupils To Benefit From Free Water Sports Activities.

The Isle of Wight Council has successfully attracted funding to provide over 600 students with the opportunity to take part in water sport activities. 
Working in partnership with Bembridge based firm X-Isle Sports, more than £38,000 will be used to provide activities such as kayaking, waterskiing and surfing to middle school pupils.
