The Isle of Wight Film Festival 2008/2009 season is about to begin with a call for submissions in the Isle Of Wight Short Film Festival, by 1st July 2008.  In conjunction with the Quay Arts and the IOW Film Network, IWSFF aims to give a voice, and prizes to the Island’s best filmmakers.

The Rotary Club of Cowes have reluctantly decided to cancel their St George’s Day Celebrations this year.  Following on the success of last years St. George’s Day celebration the Rotary hoped to stage an equally successful event for 2008; to achieve this, they needed to raise about £15,000. 

The Island Youth Music Festival 2008 is taking place at Medina Theatre (Isle of Wight) on Sunday 2nd March.
