Fearsome knights surprised passengers as they put in a spot of sword practice on board the Red Funnel ferry to East Cowes yesterday en route to the Knights Tournament, taking place at Carisbrooke Castle today (Tuesday August 21), tomorrow and Thursday.
Carisbrooke Castle will be transported back to the 15th century when it hosts a spectacular Knights Tournament on Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd August as medieval knights from the four corners of the country battle it out in the ultimate competition.
On Sunday as Cowes Week racing on The Solent commenced, one of the busiest places was the Ondeck stand, which played host, to the children’s activity centre.
