Some of the biggest names in rock and pop will once again be appearing on The Isle of Wight during 2013, with visitors being encouraged to book early for some of the major festivals to avoid disappointment.
With a nautical theme (HMS Bestival) and Elton John headlining, Bestival 2013 is already making waves and attracting interest.
Bestival revealed the first names for its 2013 event including two main stage headliners in the legendary Elton John and international hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg!
Prisoners at HMP Isle of Wight have been doing their bit to help an Island charity by laundering over 400 sleeping bags salvaged from Bestival.
Police are investigating several reports of unlicensed taxis operating on the Isle of Wight during this Bestival weekend. Members of the public are being advised not to put themselves at risk by using or paying an unlicensed driver.
