BURA Award Opportunity For Local Projects

The BURA Awards for Community Inspired Regeneration Opened for entries on Friday 29th August 2008. Do you know a community project making a difference?
The Awards for Community Inspired Regeneration celebrate the achievements of exceptional grassroots regeneration projects around the UK.
Mr Turner believes there are projects on the Island that deserve recognition.
“This is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the contribution Islanders make to the regeneration of their communities.
By investing their time and effort in these grassroots projects, Island residents make a big difference to the quality of life for everyone. I hope Islanders will nominate one that has made a difference to their community.”
The Awards are a celebration of outstanding grassroots regeneration projects; the schemes that address local issues and as a result are raising community spirit and improving quality of life.
