The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is opening a Furniture & Electrical Store on the Isle of Wight.
The large retail store in Taylor Road, Newport, opens on Tuesday 7th February and will sell a vast range of donated household furniture and electrical goods.
The store’s success will be largely dependent on generous donations from the Island community, and the BHF is urging them to donate good quality stock, such as suites, sofas, chairs, dining sets, beds and wardrobes plus electrical items including TVs, Hi-Fis, washing machines, fridges and dishwashers.
As long as the items are in good condition, the BHF can arrange collection. Residents can book a free collection by going online at www.bhf.org.uk/collection or calling the store on 0844 848 9606
BHF Shops raise over £26 million annually to help fund research, patient care and life saving equipment.
All funds raised from the store will be pumped back into the BHF’s life saving work in the fight against heart disease – the UK’s biggest killer.
