The Bestival returns once again to the Isle of Wight, with a 5th birthday party of shenanigans and line up that’s gonna rock your socks off!  As the news says: Robin Hill Country Park on the 5, 6, 7th September 2008, is the place to be for another rip-roaring feast of merriment, mirth and musical treats.

Bestival 2007 got a big thumbs up from Rob Da Bank.  Isle of Wight Artists, Bands and DJs joined a variety of global performers to keep the party atmosphere at Robin Hill going throughout the three day festival.  Thank you to all for making Bestival 2007 one of the best yet.  And if you thought that was good then bring on 2008, it will just keep getting better and better.

Police Kept Bestival Safe In Wet Wight Weather

The Isle of Wight policing operation for the Bestival at the weekend, has been praised for helping the event pass peacefully and safely in the most difficult wet weather conditions.

The operation to keep illegal drugs out of the 2008 Bestival was the most successful ever carried out by police and organisers at a music festival on the Isle of Wight. The total current estimated value of drugs seized stands at more than £104,000, double the amount from last year’s Bestival…
