Bestival: Blogs Da Bank
Sep 5th, 2008 | By Carolyn Keene | In: Bestival, Blogs, Isle of Wight Event News, News, Online News, WeatherThe news from Rob (Blogs) Da Bank on the Bestival weather is…
While storms lashed the festival site earlier in the week and struck fear into festival staff members’ hearts.
Rob wrote on his exclusive NME.COM Bestival Blog:
“There was a huge storm last night that raged all night, scaring any crew staying onsite in their tents,”
“But then the sun came out and we’re getting sunburnt again.”
Alas, now Rob updates us on the weather and writes:
“Don’t want to get too British and bang on about the weather but we may be in for a slightly damp one for the first time at Bestival – but hey ho we’re ready and the theme is ‘30,000 Freaks Under The Sea’, so it’s all my fault.”
While not wanting to go overboard on the stiff upper lip myself, but the weather here on the Isle of Wight, as I sit here and type ‘is dire’, lets hope it gets better.
A very Churchillian comment, I would like to pass on: Its Bestival and we will weather the weather come what may.
