Never let it be said that Bestival HQ don’t look after Isle of Wight residents.

On FRIDAY 22nd FEBRUARY @ 10:00am Bestival HQ launches a LIMITED NUMBER OF BESTIVAL 2008 TICKETS for Islanders only to purchase for one day only.
For the second year running and to coincide with the exciting announcement of the first raft of top acts confirmed to play at this year’s multi-award winning Bestival, a very special Islander Day promotion whereby for one day only (Friday 22nd February) a strictly limited number of Bestival 2008 tickets will be made available locally to only Island residents.

These Islander Day Bestival 2008 tickets will be sold minus all commission and handling fees, saving a whopping £17.50 on a pair of tickets and will be available at the following outlets on a strictly first come, first served basis (NB. all below outlets will open to sell tickets this Friday @ 10:00am);

* Isle of Wight Tourist Information Centres (Westridge, Newport, Sandown, Shanklin, Ryde, Cowes and Yarmouth)
* Robin Hill
* Ventnor, Winter Gardens
* Bembridge, Pilot Boat Inn

Please note: due to health and safety restrictions, all children aged 12 or under will require a free Child ticket this year and must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult - no exceptions.  A limited number of free Child tickets will be available at the above IOW outlets this Fri 22nd February, or can be obtained via Bestival Website Please also note that Islander Day tickets are limited to 4 per customer (including Child tickets where applicable).

Finally, chuffed that the various security measures built into Bestival tickets prevented problems with fakes/counterfeits in 2007, organisers are once again asking people not to purchase tickets via unauthorised means so as to avoid disappointment - all official Bestival 2008 tickets are tamperproof, boast a variety of hidden security features and have a unique barcode which will be scanned upon entry.

Once the limited allocation of Islander Day tickets have sold-out on Friday 22nd February, the only way to obtain Bestival 2008 tickets (now at full price and subject to booking/handling fees) will be via the following official outlets;
