The weekend roadshow taking place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th February has been designed by the housebuilder for Islanders to come along and find out if they could be eligible for a home on the scheme and get all the information they might need.
Mark Docherty, Barratt sales director, said:
“We’ve secured additional homes under the HomeBuy Direct scheme at Hawthorn Meadows and thought a roadshow would be the perfect way to showcase the scheme and give potential buyers all the information they need. We will have independent financial advisors available to speak to and goodie bags for all visitors to take away.
“The scheme really is perfect for people who have been priced out of the housing market for years and can take advantage of this outstanding opportunity to buy a new home.
The scheme provides buyers with an equity loan of up to 30%, jointly funded by Barratt and the government, to help first-time buyers get on the housing ladder. Barratt is offering its two-bedroom Richmond design homes at the development (pictured above) through the scheme, with prices starting at £115,000, below the typical £165,000 price tag.
