There is less than a month to go until the 19th edition of the RORC Easter Challenge which will be held, as usual, in the Solent over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Royal Ocean Racing Club are delighted to welcome back Toe in the Water this Easter, the sailing initiative for injured servicemen and women will have at least two boats competing at the RORC Easter Challenge. The A40 will be skippered by round the world yachtsman, Brian Thompson, who is an ambassador for the initiative…

Myth of Malham Round Eddystone Race

Today saw the Myth of Malham begin with 130 yachts leave the Royal Yacht Squadron line at Cowes to race out and around Eddystone lighthouse. The first half of the race to Eddystone is of even more interest this year as it is a dress rehearsal for the first 100 miles or so of the Rolex Fastnet Race, in August this year.
