Police investigating an alleged assault on a man in Newport, on Thursday, October 9th have bailed two men. A 37-year-old man from Ventnor, and a 21-year-old man from Newport, both arrested by police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent have been bailed until December 22nd pending further enquiries…

Detectives on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses to an attack in Newport on Thursday, that left a man with serious injuries. Police investigating the alleged assault have already arrested a 37-year-old man from Ventnor and 21-year-old man from Newport,on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
