Assault Reported In Sandown

The victims, one aged in his 50s, the other in his 60s, were walking through Los Altos Park near Melville Street, Sandown, Isle of Wight shortly before 8.00pm on Sunday, July 5, 2009.
It’s reported both men were assaulted by a number of youths.
The victims were taken to hospital to be treated for head, facial, elbow and knee injuries before both were discharged.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault or anyone who might have seen a number of youths walking in and around Los Altos Park in Sandown on Sunday evening (July 5) to contact officers.
