Appeal To Trace Stolen Car’s Movements

A grey five door Renault Laguna Dynamique with the registration number HY52 OVU was found and recovered by police in Whitepit Lane near the junction of Winston Road, Newport, on the evening of Friday, January 23rd.
The car had been reported stolen from Laundry Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight between 11.00pm on Wednesday, January 14 and 6.30am on Thursday, January 15.
Keys for the car were reported stolen during an alleged burglary between the same times at a nearby address in Trafalgar Road, Newport, Isle of Wight.
Items reported missing after the alleged burglary include a Bosch drill pack of tools, paint brushes, an HSBC credit card, a gold Benson of London wrist watch, two ‘Next’ wrist watches (one black, one silver), a leather wallet, and £150 in cash.
