Appeal To Find Owner Of Possible Stolen Bike

The discovery of a possible stolen bike is prompting a police appeal for information.  Targeted Patrol Team (TPT) officers recovered a blue Falcon mountain bike in the Pyle Street area of Newport, Isle of Wight on Thursday, June 11th, 2009.

A 17-year-old youth from Newport, Isle of Wight was arrested on suspicion of theft, and bailed pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for the owner of the mountain bike to come forward.

Anyone with a mountain bike, matching the description above, which might have been lost or stolen, is asked to contact PC Arran Robertson at Newport Police Station by phoning 101 or 0845 045 45 45.
