Annual OFSTED Report 2005/2006

The Annual Report of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools 2005/06 and the Outstanding Providers List 2005/06 will be published on Ofsted’s website www.ofsted.gov.uk at 10am on Wednesday 22nd November 2006, to coincide with the presentation of the report to the House of Commons by the Secretary of State for Education.Â
Published at 10 am today, the Ofsted Results for the South included Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Kent and Oxfordshire were all judged to be outstanding providers.
Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools, Christine Gilbert, said:
“My congratulations go out to all involved in these outstanding schools and early years settings for their success in delivering such a high standard of education and care. I am delighted to recognize their achievement and pay tribute to their work.”
Schools that are listed are judged to be outstanding in their overall effectiveness. Early years providers have been judged to have outstanding care and for those that provide early education this must also have been judged to be outstanding.
Update* OFSTED outstanding reports for the Isle of Wight go to The Furzehill Childcare Centre, Scallywags Fun Club and St Wilfrids Early Years Centre on the Isle of Wight were reported as outstanding Day Care providers.Â
Childminders noted as outstanding were Anne Meek, Paula Wathan, Jane Sabine, Tina Barbara Thomas and Childminder ref 149772.

This year, outstanding providers have been given a specially-developed ‘outstanding’ logo which they can use on documents and on their respective websites to communicate their achievement.
