All Island Picture of the Year Competition 2007.
Nov 27th, 2007 | By Island Pulse | Isle of Wight News From The Island PulseCalling all Isle of Wight Camera/Photography Club members the “All Island Picture of the Year” Competition is taking place at Binstead Community Centre in Ryde at 7.00pm on Wednesday 28th November.
To enter you must be a member of one of the recognised Photography Groups on the Isle of Wight and you can enter a total of 4 mounted images – 2 x colour and 2 x mono and a max of 2 slides are allowed.
The competition originated at Bembridge Camera Club and has been running now for many years on the Island. However due to circumstances Bembridge Camera Club passed over the baton to Focus Ryde Imaging Group (FRIG) last year and they now host this acclaimed competition.
The judge for the “All Island Picture of the Year” competition will be Dave Barton and the venue is Binstead Community Centre, Coniston Avenue, Binstead.
How to get there:
From Ryde, turn left into Cemetery Road or from Newport, turn right into Cemetery Road.
At the end of the road, turn right then almost immediately left into Sandpath which leads into Parkway.
Continue past Hazlemere Avenue on your left and turn left into Coniston Avenue. The Community Centre is at the end of the road.
