For those that missed the recent Age of Stupid film screening at the Quay Arts you will be able to watch the fim tonight on BBC4.

Showing the film is aimed at stimulating interest in  the UN Climate Change conference in Copenhagen.

The film show on the Isle of Wight was attended by 112 people and draft figures show a surplus of £67 for both IW Friends of the Earth and The Steve Ross Art Fund (Quay Arts in house charity).

The film uses  footage of actual disasters linked to climate change and inteviews with real people affected or concerned about the issue.  Those interviewed range from the passionate to the disinterested and selfish.

Postlethwaite’s character tells the camera: “We could have saved ourselves… but we didn’t.”

If any of you missed it, it is to be on TV. BBC4 10pm Monday 14th December.
