Rolex Commodores Cup: Day Three

As the GBR Red Force The Pace in the Rolex Commodores Cup 2008, day three took on a different complexion, both in terms of the racing and the weather.
The offshore race set sail at 10.30am from the Royal Yacht Squadron line off Cowes, but rather than the welcome sunny 10-20 knot conditions

Police are investigating damage caused at a new toilet in Brading car park on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.   The Isle of Wight Council has pledged to continue its programme of building Eco Loos despite the vandalism within days of the new toilets being opened.

RNLI Takes Over Cowes Lifeboat Service.

This week the RNLI officially took over the management of the Cowes lifeboat service on the Isle of Wight.
Since mid May the lifeboat crew members have been involved in a transitional period of intensive RNLI training to ensure working practices are consistent with those found across the charity.
