The AA B&B Awards results are in and the winner of the Funkiest B&B of the Year is the Enchanted Manor on the Isle of Wight.
Enchanted Manor a restored old manor house has been converted into a magical retreat by owners Ric and Maggie.

If you took photographs of the recent Isle of Wight Walking Festival you are being invited to enter the Isle of Wight Walking Festival Photography Competition.
The competition is organised in conjunction with Dimbola Lodge, the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Unit and the Isle of Wight Walking Festival.

Simon Butler reports: The Isle of Wight Council is beginning consultation into its proposals for the closure of Kitbridge Middle School and the expansion of Downside Middle School. The statutory consultation will last for six weeks and ends on 15th July.

Three Isle of Wight beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status in the latest list announced by the Keep Britain Tidy Group. In addition, 10 beaches in total have been given Quality Coast Award (QCA) status.
