IW College Gains New Training Quality Kite Mark.

The Isle of Wight College has become one of the first college’s to achieve the new Training Quality Standard (TQS).  The TQS  has been designed to recognise and accredit those organisations which can demonstrate excellence in delivering training solutions for employers.

Isle Of Wight Veterans Day.

Hundreds of war veterans living on the Isle of Wight will take part in a day of celebration to respect their careers and remember their colleagues on Friday 27th June.
National Veterans Day will be marked on the Island with an outdoor (Drumhead) service to be held at Northwood House in Cowes.

Police Appeal After Burglary In Carisbrooke.

Isle of Wight Detectives are appealing for information after a burglary at a property in Carisbrooke.  Sometime between 2.30pm and 6.15pm on Tuesday, June 10th, a safe containing jewellery and approximately £2,000 in cash was stolen from the house in Froglands Lane. Newport.
