Sailors Get Lost In Snow.

Carolyn Keene reports:   The Coastguard today, warned sailors to be fully prepared before going to sea, as four small boats needed assistance after becoming lost this morning in snow storms.

Coastguard rescue units were sent to help two yachts, one off the Isle of Wight and the other off Portsmouth.  (more…)

SSILB Rescue Stalled Fishing Boat And Crew.

Richard Chantler reports:  On Saturday April 5th, Sandown and Shanklin Inshore Lifeboat (SSILB) were called out by Solent Coastguard, to a fishing boat which had broken down three quarters of a mile from Culver Cliff off the Isle of Wight. (more…)
